TMS Education Projects: Encouraging the next generation.
Our education projects provide a range of opportunities for children and young people to interact and learn about music as well as develop enjoyment and interest in music. We also like to encourage participation through other art forms such as dance, art, storytelling and poetry.
We were pleased be invited to attend Blackwell First School and Crown Meadow first School for our Workshop programme and plan to make other school visits in the future.

Blackwell First School Choir – July 2024 (24)
Following the visit at the school in the morning – see below, the TMS Education Team were invited to play at a pupils special choir event in the afternoon just down the road at St Catherine’s Church.

A return visit by Shulah and the Education team to this local school before end of term. The pupils throughly enjoyed making music with their colourful ‘Boomwhackers’.

‘TMS at Meadow Green Primary School’ – July 2024
We received a lovely ‘thank you’ message from a delighted Mrs Barber following our visit:
“I am writing to say thank you so much for visiting Meadow Green at the end of term. Everyone really enjoyed the whole school performance (children and teaching staff), and learning about your instruments and the music being played.
Please pass on our thanks to Louise and Vanessa too. The KS1 workshop that you ran was great fun, and the children learned so much about music and performance – an afternoon they will always remember! You were all so enthusiastic; the activities had been carefully planned, and were so engaging for the children.
Thank you, and we hope to have you visit again.”

We were delighted to collaborate with Crown Meadow First School, Alvechurch & Translucent Dance Studio, Worcester for our Spring Family Concert 2022.
TMS recently delivered a Music Workshop at Crown Meadow School, Alvechurch about Story Telling Through Music. These pictures are inspired by 4 Seasons – Vivaldi and The Swan from The Carnival of the Animals – Saint-Saens. We received this lovely feedback: ‘The children loved the Music Workshop.
