Sporting brand new TMS polo shirts designed specially to compliment our Outreach initiative, we visited the lovely people at the Primrose Hospice. Located in Bromsgrove, we were pleased of the opportunity to entertain and support the invaluable work being carried out.

“The performance last Tuesday was fantastic, like a ray of sunshine on a spring day! Thank you, we had wonderful feedback from our café members. It was the first time attending for several people and so it was lovely to be able to welcome them to the café with your performance.
I’m always surprised by how relaxing your playing is, for our café members and for me. It’s great to see how people relax and chat more as the performance goes on, singing along and moving with the music.
I like how you interact with café members. There was a moment yesterday when you’d finished playing a piece and were introducing the next, when our café member burst into song still singing the last piece, so you paused and asked “shall we play it again?” and everyone replied with a “yes!”.
I also like how you tell a story in your performances. It involves café members and stimulates thoughts and conversation. This time it was all about the different themed days and months there are – Jazz Day, Garden Day, Malbec Day, Rubber Eraser Day – who knew?
I can’t think of any improvements. The performance is uplifting, it is such a joy to listen to music from such talented, professional musicians.
My favourite from last week was Baby Elephant Walk and I went home and played it on repeat to my housemates!“

TMS players have recently visited and entertained Burcot Grange residents – pictures located here – and Wythall Residential Home. Also The Lounge Community Cafe in Alvechurch and the Redditch Dementia Cafe.
